All of Kollywood seem to be eagerly waiting for Billa 2. Already the theatrical rights of the Ajith-starrer have been sold. The film is rumoured to have fetched an amount of 24 crores, which is the highest amount that any Ajith film has fetched so far. Aascar Ravichandran's company has reportedly bought the rights for the film, which is expected to hit the cinema halls in June. Billa was one of the biggest hits in the last decade. Now with Mankatha striking gold at the box office last year, the race for buying the various rights for his film has heated up. Buzz is that, the amount spent spent on acquiring the theatrical rights of Billa 2 is well over what Mankatha commanded last year. It definitely seems like everyone is eager to see Ajith back on the big screen!
