While most Bollywood actors insist on a plush vanity van for changing costumes amid shoots, actor Vidya Balan, while shooting for Kahaani, did most of her costume change in a SUV, without raising a brow, says the films’ director Sujoy Ghosh. “Most of our shoots were on the streets of Kolkata, where one doesn’t get the permission to park a vanity van. So, we covered up this Innova with a black sheet of cloth, and Vidya happily changed her costume inside the car,” says Ghosh, adding, “She has the capability to understand the constraints of the director, and hence doesn’t ever throw any tantrum. Vidya is a sweetheart.” The thriller that is scheduled to release on March 9 has mostly been shot in outdoor locations across Kolkata – the Kalighat temple area, the Lalbazar police station, and in trams and Metro stations. Rubbishing reports that Vidya acted “pricey” before taking up the project of a pregnant woman who flies down to Kolkata in search of her missing husband, Ghosh says, “No, she wasn’t pricey at all. This project was as close to her heart as it was to mine. She has been very involved in the way the film developed – right from its story to screenplay. In fact, she suggested many modifications, and they were all great.”

STEVEN SPIELBERG'S 'TINTIN' COLLECTED Rs. 7.35 CRORE IN FIRST THREE DAYS

Steven Spielberg's animated movie 'The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of The Unicorn has earned Rs.7.35 crores over First Three days, Making it the highest opening for any Steven Spielberg film in India.
Tintin released with over 350 prints in both English and Hindi in the 3D and 2D formats. This is the ever first movie, to open simultaneously in smaller centres like Alwar, Gwalior, Akola, Thrissur, Amaravati, Madurai and Salem.
"Not only is the animated genre gaining ground amongst all age groups in India, but 'Tintin' is unique in the sense that the franchise is enjoyed and appreciated by a very wide audience right from kids to adults who grew up on 'Tintin', Said Kercy Daruwala, The managing director, Sony Pictures India.

FOX STAR STUDIO TOOK MALAYALAM MOVIE 'SECOND SHOW' FOR WIDE DISTRIBUTION

First time in Malayalam film industry, the Malayalam movie 'Second Show' featuring Megastar Mammootty's son Dulqar Salman, Directed by Sreenath Rajendran has become to be distributed by Fox Star Studio, a movie production and distribution company of Twentieth Century Fox and STAR. Fox Star Studio owned by the media magnet Rupert Murdoch's news corporation has started distributing the movie in as many as 50 centers outside Kerala from this week.

The lovely singer Whitney Housten was found dead in her 4th floor suite room in California, hotel Beverly Hills on Sunday 12th February 2012 night. She passed away before the Valentine Day. Her death cause will be only known after the toxicology and other reports are out, it may take min eight weeks.
Whitney Houston's death cast its shadow in the Grammy awards with some of the greatest names in the music world bowing their heads in honor of the lovely singer, whose "I will always love you" continued to resonate throughout the ceremony.
In the last days, she was totally addicted with drugs, and her musical achievements were shadowed because of that and her broken relationship with ex husband Bobby Brown.
The death of Whitney Housten suddenly brought the spotlight on her musical legacy and it was evident during the ceremony which paid tribute to the singer.

BIG B TO GET DISCHARGED TOMORROW

Amitabh Bachan was admitted for an abdominal surgery at Seven Hills Hospital on Saturday morning and it was a successful surgery. After that surgery, now The Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachan, the one and only Big B is atable and well on his way to recovery.
"He is expected to be on his feet by tomorrow. He can go home then or can stay back till Monday", The Seven Hills source told.
The problem was a persistent pain in the abdomen had prompted the Megastar to seek medical consultation. Amitabh Bachan already done some medical tests and found that he needed surgery.
A surgical team comprising of five doctors carried out a successful three hour operation on the actor for bilateral inguinal hernia.
When the surgery was over, Abhishek Bachchan said, “I just came out to say thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, wishes specially media for respecting our privacy. Dad had a small procedure today, which is the legacy of his 1982 accident.
"He is out after the surgery and back in his room, he is fine and he is hail and hearty, and talking. The doctors have said they’ll keep him here for 24 hours just for observation.”
Big B also tweet after his surgery that,
“Back ..!! Thank you for your prayers.. your love and wishes never fail.. indebted for life, one that I shall never be able to pay back,” he tweeted around 9 pm.
“Took almost 5 hrs on the OT, but could feel the concern and wishes of the TwFmXt (Twitter extended family, which is how Bachchan refers to his followers) — every minute .. you all
are incredible .. thank you," he added.
